CD Review
This ezine review isn't of a music CD, but a meditative guide.
This
CD is a bit off the beaten path. I found it through an internet radio station broadcast by a witch named Sue Molyneaux in
Canada.
Guided Meditation: Guided Dream to Callisto

I am constantly striving to become more adept at meditation. I try to make time to meditate
every day.. I sometimes find that guided meditations can help me to focus. This Guided Dream to Callisto
was AMAZING. You can put it in your CD player, close your eyes and be whisked away. This meditation is not a plain
Jane one size fits all meditation from your local music store. It isn't written by one person, then performed by another.
It is written and performed by the same person. Her name is Sue Molyneaux and she is from Toronto, Canada. She
is Wiccan and has been on the path for 20 + years.
Put your CD in, sit back and close your eyes. Sue first puts
you through a relaxation exercise. Soon you will find yourself drifting off , and your surroundings are transformed
to a beautiful forest. You will find yourself in nature, next to a beautiful stream . The sound effects are wonderful.
Nature sounds, chirping birds, flowing water and croaking frogs are welcoming , and the sound of Sue’s melodic voice
is both dramatic and soothing.
This journey takes you to the sacred space of Callisto, the goddess of protection.
The imagery used in this guide is very realistic. Callisto comes to you in animal form, (I wont give all the details
away....I don't want to ruin it for anyone!) and the scene feels so real I could honestly feel the warmth of the fur
on my face and smell the grass and trees around me. It is a deeply moving experience, and I was surprised
to find tears streaming down my face as I connected with Callisto.
If you wish a deeper spiritual connection with
the Goddess, this meditation is a wonderful tool.
You can listen to it while relaxing or play it while you sleep.
You emerge from your mediation pleasantly relaxed.

me.
